Geithner to Pelosi: TARP Extended to October 2010
With the expanded powers of the Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner has decided to extend the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Parogram (TARP) until ...
October of 2010. With the newly found powers of his office all he had to do was to decide it to be. And so it is.
Republicans are being pretty vocal about the program recently and you can bet that we'll start to see more news about instances where the funds were misappropriated.
The full text of the letter that Geithner wrote to Pelosi in regards to the extension and future plan is available HERE.
