NEW DELHI: Scores of differently-abled people today held a protest, expressing anguish over non-passage of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill due to continuous ruckus in Parliament and demanded extension of the current session for its clearance.

The bill, which seeks to broaden the ambit of disability from existing seven to nineteen categories is stuck owing to disruptions in Parliament on other political issues.

Chicago's Ukrainian Community Protest

(Video) Tamara Tyshenko said she felt sick when she saw the images of priests praying over bodies in Ukraine after what should have been peaceful protests against the country's government.
So the 68-year-old drove an hour and a half from her home in northwest suburban Carpentersville to downtown Chicago on Wednesday to join other local Ukrainians disgusted by the violence. More than 25 people — protesters and police — died this week during clashes in the country's capital. Hundreds more were injured.
On Wednesday, Ukraine's president called a cease-fire in an attempt to stop the bloodshed.
"This is so sick. We're not accustomed to that," Tyshenko said. "It is our hope this can be solved so ...Continue >>>

More ObamaCare reports to drop drugs, close hospitals, spread the pain

(Video) Here’s another person for Democrats to insult as a meaningless “anecdote”: Chris Dunn of Sonora, California, who lost his old insurance due to Barack Obama’s Big Lie, got saddled with an overpriced and inferior ObamaCare plan, and can’t get the back surgery he desperately needs.  ”Doc shock” for the win!

ObamaCare was falsely billed as the cure for such “cost shifting,” when in reality it’s increasing the burden on emergency rooms.  Forcing the Affordable Care Act through Congress required states to be given the option of rejecting the Medicaid expansion that would theoretically have replaced these emergency room visits with a certified welfare plan.  Now we've got the worst of both worlds.  ObamaCare is such a disaster that ...Continue >>>

Gun Control Bill would require tech to personalize guns for owner use only

Sen. Edward Markey has unveiled a gun control bill he says will help reduce firearm violence by requiring all new guns be "personalized" with special features, such as fingerprint-reading technology, so they can only be fired by their owners or other authorized users.

The Massachusetts Democrat says the bill will make it harder for stolen guns to be used in crimes and will reduce accidental firearm deaths by making it impossible for children to fire guns they find Markey said technology already exists to make guns inoperable for unauthorized users.

“In the 21st century, we should use advances in technology to our own advantage and save lives, and the [bill] will help ensure that only authorized users can operate handguns," Markey said in a statement. "This is the type of gun ...Continue >>>

Spanish Women Set To Protest Government Abortion Controls

Females across the country of Spain are queuing up (and sometimes lying down) to oppose legislation which will limit the availability of abortions. Alasdair Fotheringham in Madrid asks what these so-called registry protests can achieve as havens of humdrum state bureaucracy, government commercial registry offices are rarely targets for demonstrators. But this month, queues of women have lined up outside offices across Spain to demand that the largely baffled civil servants within allow them to symbolically register their bodies as their own property, with official certificates to prove it.
From Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona to Pontevedra and Alicante, the so-called “registry protests” are the latest attempt by women’s rights activists to draw attention to controversial government plans to dramatically limit access to abortion – a move that ...Continue >>>

KIEV, Ukraine — Ukraine descended into a deeper spiral of violence on Thursday as both protesters and riot police officers used firearms in the deadliest day so far, and fear intensified that President Viktor F. Yanukovych would declare a state of emergency, a move that could herald the deployment of the military.

The Kiev municipal health authorities reported that 39 people had been ...Continue >>>

Philippines: Australian Minister hopes to reduce tensions in South China Sea

Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop today voiced her support for the completion of a "code of conduct" aimed at reducing tensions amid China's aggressive claim to almost all of the South China Sea.

Bishop, who is on a visit to the Philippines, said she discussed the matter with her Filipino counterpart Albert del Rosario.

There have been heightened tensions between China and its neighbours -- including the Philippines -- because of disputes over maritime territory.

Bishop said Australia favoured the push by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to craft a "code of conduct" to better manage the issues.

"In the case of the South China Sea, we support ASEAN objectives in concluding a Code of Conduct with China and ...Continue >>>

Chinese and Japanese Tensions will rise in South China Sea

Over the last month and a half, seven significant developments indicate that tensions in the South China Sea are set to rise in both the short and long term. The five short-term trends include: Philippine defiance of China’s fishing ban; continued inaction by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); the Chinese navy’s repeated assertions of sovereignty over James Shoal; the possibility of an Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) over the South China Sea; and stronger United States opposition to China’s ADIZ and maritime territorial claims.

First, in January, the Philippines stepped up its public defiance of China and its territorial ...Continue >>>

by George Barron
Many of us can't wait until President Barack Obama is no longer occupying the White House. But could he then continue his steam roller politics as a member of the supreme court? That's what happened to our 27th President,William Howard Taft. He served one term as president and then several years later was confirmed as Chief Justice of The Supreme Court.

During the coming mid-term election we hope to undo

FOX News Channel Banned at Michigan Medical Center

When I first heard a story that Fox News was being banned in a Michigan hospital waiting room I thought that it was probably just making a big deal about nothing. Plenty of waiting rooms have the TV's tuned to other stations besides FOX News. Just change the channel, I thought. What's the problem?

As it turns out, the problem was that patients were indeed changing the channel to FOX News. And the staff didn't like it. That's because the staff, mostly being

Wealth Destruction and Recession Signals Obscured by Disinformation

Just because you haven't heard much about the root problems with the economy lately doesn't mean that all is well. There's a lot going on and it's getting confusing. One thing we can count on - when things get confusing, it isn't a good sign.

The politicians in Greece are releasing statements to the press that the economy is doing well and recovery is going strong. Yet the unemployment rate in Greece is now at 27.8% - it's highest rate. What's worse, the unemployment rate for youth is up to

Rise Of The Slacker Class In America

Idea Of  Slacker Class Is Catching On

Learning that work is part of life is a lesson that many of us have to be taught. It didn't come instinctively to me. When I was about nine years old I complained to my step-dad that I didn't understand why we had to spend so much time cleaning up the yard.

As I sat on the back porch step, hanging my slacker head and acting all exhausted, he looked down at me and said, "George, it's called work. You better get use to it because you'll be doing it for the rest of your life." Hmmm, I thought. I can't see how I'm ever going to get use to this.

But eventually I did get use to working. I didn't always like it but

Obama's appreciation for the Muslim Brotherhood  has been obvious right from the beginning of his presidency. When he spoke before the Egyptian parliament he insisted that a representative from the Muslim Brotherhood have VIP seating - even though, at the time, the Brotherhood was restricted from participating in official Egyptian business. He has actively pursued members of The Muslim Brotherhood to serve in his administration in various capacities. He backed them during the so-called Arab Spring. And now, The Washington Beacon is now reporting that a top Muslim Brotherhood lobbyist is meeting with President Obama.

Bill Gertz is an outstanding reporter that has a knack for getting stories that nobody else can find. Apparently he could even have sources deep within  the NSA. This particular story wasn't suppose to get out. But Bill Gertz, who is with the Washington Free Beacon, got the inside scoop. Now we find out that the developers of the Obamacare website contracted with programmers in Belarus, formerly of the Soviet republic and a country known to be a hotbed for cyber criminals. The NSA has warned the department of Health and Human Services that the

New York Times Reacts to O'reilly Obama Interview Before Super Bowl.

Amazingly, Peter Baker of the New York Times wrote what I consider to be a fair assessment of Bill O'reilly's interview of President Obama. I suppose what I mean by 'amazingly' is that the New York Times printed it.

New York Times, February 3rd, 2014

WASHINGTON — Some of the hardest hits of Super Bowl Sunday came a couple of hours before kickoff.

In keeping with his tradition of appearing on the network broadcasting football’s championship game, President Obama found himself confronting a full-scale blitz by Bill O’Reilly of Fox News.

Bill O'reilly Interviews President Obama Before The Super Bowl

Bill O'reilly asked some pretty direct questions of the president during his interview of President Obama just before the Super Bowl. It's interesting to watch Obama's answers and his eye movements. He does stay amazingly cool 'under fire' - I will give him that much. But having said that, it's also obvious that he has a lot of practice dancing on the edge between lies and truth. Is it my imagination or does he squirm just a little?

Below are just a few comments from Fox News readers: (names have been removed to prevent IRS audits : ) At the time that I was reading the article on FOX news there were over 5,000 comments.

Oby wants ALL us to suffer amnesia because he has lied his way to this point and has NEVER explained anything he has done. Until this interview NOT ONE network threw him any question other than: "Gee Mr.
