Lifelock didn't help Carole Hinders' bank account from being drained by I.R.S.

Have you heard the Lifelock commercial about the man that woke up one morning to discover that his life savings of $300,000 was stolen by an identity thief? What you're less likely to hear about is another type of thief that acts in in a similar way - emptying numerous bank accounts throughout the year, legally. It's the I.R.S. - one of many enforcement agencies of the U.S. government

The New York Times printed a story about restaurant owner Carole Hinders, who saw her bank balance go from $33,000 down to zero - confiscated by the I.R.S. That in itself isn't so unusual. We

Obama To Crowd: Come Back Here!

Reuters News reported that swarms of people walked out when President Barack Obama started speaking during a democratic rally in Maryland. The early departures of so many in attendance underscores his continuing unpopularity throughout the country - even in his own party.

With his approval levels hovering around all time record lows, Obama has spent most of his campaign-related efforts this year raising money for only the most desperate of Democrats, who risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election.
Most candidates running for office from his party have been very afraid of appearing with him because being associated with him could be detrimental to their campaigns.

Highly Sensitive Information from DoD to be Stored on Cloud

Cloud server technology will soon be used by The Department of Defense to store the department's sensitive data. Procurement is currently searching for vendors interested in providing such a service.

While it's true that Amazon’s cloud service technology is already authorized to store lower-level Defense data, the announcement would be the first time that highly classified “level six” files information have been considered for cloud-based storage and distribution by an

Top Ebola Doctor Dies as Virus Spreads - 30,000 people to be traced

Sierra Leone's top doctor fighting an outbreak of Ebola has died from the virus, the country's chief medical officer, Brima Kargbo, said on Tuesday.
Sheik Umar Khan, who was credited with treating more than 100 patients, was infected with Ebola this month and had been moved to a treatment ward run by medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres in the far north of the country.

It comes as Nigerian health officials are in the process of trying to trace 30,000 people thought to have come into contact directly or indirectly with a Liberian Ebola victim.

Patrick Sawyer, a consultant for Liberia's Finance Ministry, died on Friday after arriving at Lagos airport on June 20, having vomited and suffered diarrhoea on two flights.

The 40-year-old U.S. citizen had been to the funeral of his sister, who also died from the disease.

He was put in isolation at the First Consultants Hospital in Obalende, one of the most crowded parts of the

You Don't Have To Imagine A World Without America

America -The Book
Earlier this month I saw a movie by Dinesh D'Souza called America - Imagine The World Without Her. While I did enjoy the movie and was enlightened by several historical 'corrections' about America, I was somewhat disappointed. Later I would discover that others felt the same - because the movie did not deliver 'The World Without Her' part, as promised in the title.

Today it occurred to me, after reading the following article by Fred Hiatt of The Washington Post, that we don't have to imagine such a world. It's indeed unfolding before us now.

Police State USA - How Orwell's Nightmare is Becoming Reality- by Cheryl Chumley

Cheryl Chumley, Author
In her new book, Police State USA, Cheryl Chumley explains why she believes that in just four or five years, you'll be wondering what happened to the America that you knew. Her straight-forward, street-smart writing documents government abuses in such a way that makes it easy for all education levels to understand. Spiced with sarcasm and a  little droll humor Police State USA is written to be understood, not studied.

Continuing, within ten years, your children won't recognize the America that they grew up with. Then, 25 years from now, America as as we know it - and what it represented - will no longer be recognizable. There will no longer be a  Constitution - except to be remembered by intellectuals as a document that was finally and legally ignored. It will be discarded onto the same trash pile as the Bible was tossed.

The Art of Urban Survival by Stephen H. Verstappen - A Book Review

Book Review From The Mystic Gambler

In the casino of life, survival is the name of the game. Survival skills are especially important in the urban casino of life . Reading  The Art of Urban Survival - A Family Safety and Defense Manual - will put the odds of urban survival in your favor.

Since civilization began, man has created an artificial environment in which to live. In part, the purpose of an urban environment is to separate us from the dangers of nature and to protect us from natural disasters caused by climate and predators. However, nature's not easily thwarted and the laws of the jungle still apply.

We may have escaped being eaten by a tiger but the tiger has been replaced by

Who Cares About Lois Lerner?

Who cares about Lois Lerner? I don't. I'm sick and tired of Congress pussyfooting around when all they have to do is give Lerner immunity and get to the bottom of this thing. I really don't care that she had anything to do with the targeting of conservative groups. We already know that she did. What are going g to do? Spank her?

The only thing I care about is if the Obama administration was behind it. If somebody at the

Chicago's Ukrainian Community Protest

(Video) Tamara Tyshenko said she felt sick when she saw the images of priests praying over bodies in Ukraine after what should have been peaceful protests against the country's government.
So the 68-year-old drove an hour and a half from her home in northwest suburban Carpentersville to downtown Chicago on Wednesday to join other local Ukrainians disgusted by the violence. More than 25 people — protesters and police — died this week during clashes in the country's capital. Hundreds more were injured.
On Wednesday, Ukraine's president called a cease-fire in an attempt to stop the bloodshed.
"This is so sick. We're not accustomed to that," Tyshenko said. "It is our hope this can be solved so ...Continue >>>

More ObamaCare reports to drop drugs, close hospitals, spread the pain

(Video) Here’s another person for Democrats to insult as a meaningless “anecdote”: Chris Dunn of Sonora, California, who lost his old insurance due to Barack Obama’s Big Lie, got saddled with an overpriced and inferior ObamaCare plan, and can’t get the back surgery he desperately needs.  ”Doc shock” for the win!

ObamaCare was falsely billed as the cure for such “cost shifting,” when in reality it’s increasing the burden on emergency rooms.  Forcing the Affordable Care Act through Congress required states to be given the option of rejecting the Medicaid expansion that would theoretically have replaced these emergency room visits with a certified welfare plan.  Now we've got the worst of both worlds.  ObamaCare is such a disaster that ...Continue >>>

Gun Control Bill would require tech to personalize guns for owner use only

Sen. Edward Markey has unveiled a gun control bill he says will help reduce firearm violence by requiring all new guns be "personalized" with special features, such as fingerprint-reading technology, so they can only be fired by their owners or other authorized users.

The Massachusetts Democrat says the bill will make it harder for stolen guns to be used in crimes and will reduce accidental firearm deaths by making it impossible for children to fire guns they find Markey said technology already exists to make guns inoperable for unauthorized users.

“In the 21st century, we should use advances in technology to our own advantage and save lives, and the [bill] will help ensure that only authorized users can operate handguns," Markey said in a statement. "This is the type of gun ...Continue >>>

Spanish Women Set To Protest Government Abortion Controls

Females across the country of Spain are queuing up (and sometimes lying down) to oppose legislation which will limit the availability of abortions. Alasdair Fotheringham in Madrid asks what these so-called registry protests can achieve as havens of humdrum state bureaucracy, government commercial registry offices are rarely targets for demonstrators. But this month, queues of women have lined up outside offices across Spain to demand that the largely baffled civil servants within allow them to symbolically register their bodies as their own property, with official certificates to prove it.
From Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona to Pontevedra and Alicante, the so-called “registry protests” are the latest attempt by women’s rights activists to draw attention to controversial government plans to dramatically limit access to abortion – a move that ...Continue >>>

Philippines: Australian Minister hopes to reduce tensions in South China Sea

Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop today voiced her support for the completion of a "code of conduct" aimed at reducing tensions amid China's aggressive claim to almost all of the South China Sea.

Bishop, who is on a visit to the Philippines, said she discussed the matter with her Filipino counterpart Albert del Rosario.

Bishop said Australia favoured the push by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to craft a "code of conduct" to better manage the issues.

"In the case of the South China Sea, we support ASEAN objectives in concluding a Code of Conduct with China and ...Continue >>>

Many of us can't wait until President Barack Obama is no longer occupying the White House. But could he then continue his steam roller politics as a member of the supreme court? That's what happened to our 27th President,William Howard Taft. He served one term as president and then several years later was confirmed as Chief Justice of The Supreme Court.

During the coming mid-term election we hope to undo

FOX News Channel Banned at Michigan Medical Center

When I first heard a story that Fox News was being banned in a Michigan hospital waiting room I thought that it was probably just making a big deal about nothing. Plenty of waiting rooms have the TV's tuned to other stations besides FOX News. Just change the channel, I thought. What's the problem?

As it turns out, the problem was that patients were indeed changing the channel to FOX News. And the staff didn't like it. That's because the staff, mostly being

Wealth Destruction and Recession Signals Obscured by Disinformation

Just because you haven't heard much about the root problems with the economy lately doesn't mean that all is well. There's a lot going on and it's getting confusing. One thing we can count on - when things get confusing, it isn't a good sign.

The politicians in Greece are releasing statements to the press that the economy is doing well and recovery is going strong. Yet the unemployment rate in Greece is now at 27.8% - it's highest rate. What's worse, the unemployment rate for youth is up to

Rise Of The Slacker Class In America

Idea Of  Slacker Class Is Catching On

Learning that work is part of life is a lesson that many of us have to be taught. It didn't come instinctively to me. When I was about nine years old I complained to my step-dad that I didn't understand why we had to spend so much time cleaning up the yard.

As I sat on the back porch step, hanging my slacker head and acting all exhausted, he looked down at me and said, "George, it's called work. You better get use to it because you'll be doing it for the rest of your life." Hmmm, I thought. I can't see how I'm ever going to get use to this.

But eventually I did get use to working. I didn't always like it but

Obama's appreciation for the Muslim Brotherhood  has been obvious right from the beginning of his presidency. When he spoke before the Egyptian parliament he insisted that a representative from the Muslim Brotherhood have VIP seating - even though, at the time, the Brotherhood was restricted from participating in official Egyptian business. He has actively pursued members of The Muslim Brotherhood to serve in his administration in various capacities. He backed them during the so-called Arab Spring. And now, The Washington Beacon is now reporting that a top Muslim Brotherhood lobbyist is meeting with President Obama.

This particular story wasn't suppose to get out. But Bill Gertz, who is with the Washington Free Beacon, got the inside scoop. Now we find out that the developers of the Obamacare website contracted with programmers in Belarus, formerly of the Soviet republic and a country known to be a hotbed for cyber criminals. The NSA has warned the department of Health and Human Services that the

New York Times Reacts to O'reilly Obama Interview Before Super Bowl.

Amazingly, Peter Baker of the New York Times wrote what I consider to be a fair assessment of Bill O'reilly's interview of President Obama. I suppose what I mean by 'amazingly' is that the New York Times printed it.

New York Times, February 3rd, 2014

WASHINGTON — Some of the hardest hits of Super Bowl Sunday came a couple of hours before kickoff.

In keeping with his tradition of appearing on the network broadcasting football’s championship game, President Obama found himself confronting a full-scale blitz by Bill O’Reilly of Fox News.

Bill O'reilly Interviews President Obama Before The Super Bowl

Bill O'reilly asked some pretty direct questions of the president during his interview of President Obama just before the Super Bowl. It's interesting to watch Obama's answers and his eye movements. He does stay amazingly cool 'under fire' - I will give him that much. But having said that, it's also obvious that he has a lot of practice dancing on the edge between lies and truth. Is it my imagination or does he squirm just a little?

Below are just a few comments from Fox News readers: (names have been removed to prevent IRS audits : ) At the time that I was reading the article on FOX news there were over 5,000 comments.

Oby wants ALL us to suffer amnesia because he has lied his way to this point and has NEVER explained anything he has done. Until this interview NOT ONE network threw him any question other than: "Gee Mr.

Learn How to Reload Your Ammo

Let's face it, the cost for ammunition is going through the roof. That is, if you can even find the ammo that you're looking for. Maybe it's time to learn how to reload our own ammo.

Ammunition shortages have caused prices to rise and popular calibers to be in especially short supply. Purposed legislation in Washington is likely to cause more shortages in the future - for longer stretches at a time.

Anti-gun activists are working around our 2nd amendment constitutional protections by persuing legislation to control the manufacture, distribution and use of ammo. There's even a bullet tax on the table. It's getting scary.

King Obama uses executive orders to avoid doing his job. What about the Constitution?

Many Americans and a few congressman are getting concerned that Barrack Obama  is getting carried away with his use of executive orders and disregarding the Constitution. He's clearly just too lazy to get things done the right way. He has avoided confrontation with congress from day one; preferring to criticize from afar awhile he tours the country giving sales pitches. No wonder he never hears about what's going on: He's never in Washington to do his job.

But there is a saying that I heard as a kid: "The lazy works double." In other words, if you don't do the job correctly the first time it only makes for a tougher job later. So while Obama's followers may be rejoicing now because he decrees like a king - his laziness may come back to bite him.

The following article reviews the history of executive orders and how likely Obama's pen strokes may be signed with disappearing ink.

Ann Coulter: GOP Immigration Plan Will Destroy America As We Know It

The claim is that they are Americans. But are they
Americans in spirit? A new survey says not so much.
by Ann Coulter
As House Republicans prepare to sell out the country on immigration this week, Phyllis Schlafly has produced a stunning report on how immigration is changing the country. The report is still embargoed, but someone slipped me a copy, and it's too important to wait.

Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. What does it mean for the Republican Party?

Citing surveys from the Pew Research Center, the Pew Hispanic Center, Gallup, NBC News, Harris polling, the

Did Obama Administration Cause The Great Ammo Shortage?

Most of Obama's so called stimulus plans have been nothing more than a way to payback his political friends and those that he owed. Obama's ammo shortage was no exception.

Most of his policies have done little to put people back to work or to expand the economy. Except for his attempts at gun and ammunition control. Ironically, every time that Obama opens his mouth about the subject, the industry grows. Businesses related to the industry grow, sales go up and more people get jobs. And more people that have been sitting on the fence about owning a firearm jump to the side of the second amendment and make their first purchase.

Dick Morris discovers Obama Bailout of insurance companies

President Obama has apparently approved, through his signature bill, a massive bailout of the insurance companies that are involved with Obama care. According to Dick Morris, political analyst and commentator, this is the most secret trillion dollars in the American budget. The US government is going to pay health insurance companies, under the terms of Obamacare, a $1 trillion subsidy over the course of the next decade. In a recent video to his subscribers, Dick Morris explains how the program is going to work...

John Boehner's 'Time To Rise' Speech

John Boehner has a tough job. While many times I harshly criticize him, there are times when he makes me proud. In his opening speech, welcoming the 113th congress, it is the later. If only every member of congress would heed his words. Following is the full text of the speech.

Leader Pelosi, members of the House and Senate, dear family and friends, fellow countrymen:

We meet again at democracy’s great port of call. Every two years, at this hour, the Constitution brings a new order to this House.  It is an interlude for reflection, a glimpse of old truths.

To our new members and their families, welcome.  You are likely feeling awestruck right about now.  History runs through here.  And now you are among a select few to share in this privilege.
